Privacy
This policy covers browsing the GENKI website and booking online. Your practitioner may provide additional information about the handling of information related to your care.
Browsing and cookies
GENKI’s presentation pages do not install advertising or audience analytics cookies and do not store your language choice on your device. Their images, styles and scripts are served by the website itself. No GOrendezvous form loads when you arrive.
These pages therefore have no general cookie consent banner. External booking has a separate choice. This information will be reviewed if tracking tools are added.
Hosting and technical information
Hostinger hosts this website. To deliver pages, maintain the service and prevent abuse, the hosting provider may process your IP address, access date and time, requested pages and browser information. These logs are separate from appointment information.
Your choice before opening GOrendezvous
An appointment button first displays a notice. The external form loads only when you select “Load GOrendezvous”. You can select “Return to the site” or close the window without loading that service. GENKI does not use a cookie to remember this choice.
Loading the form sends information including your IP address and browser information to GOrendezvous and its technical providers. GOrendezvous uses its own cookies, including for sessions, security and language preferences. That provider may also load payment or technical measurement services.
Closing the window unloads the form without deleting information already sent or cookies already placed. You can manage those cookies in your browser. A link opened directly, in a new tab or without JavaScript takes you to GOrendezvous, where its rules apply.
Booking information
Depending on the fields displayed, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, selected service, appointment date and any information you choose to add. Required fields and optional choices are presented in the form.
This information is used to arrange and manage your appointment and send related communications. GENKI can access it through GOrendezvous and remains responsible for information it collects or holds through that service, although the presentation pages do not themselves store it. Provide health information only where requested and when necessary.
Providers and processing locations
Hostinger provides hosting; GOrendezvous provides booking and related communications. Their technical providers may also participate in these functions. GOrendezvous states that it hosts its data in Canada, while some of its services may process information in other countries. Some processing may therefore take place outside Quebec. Its privacy notice describes its practices across its different websites and services.
Retention and protection
The booking form loads over an HTTPS connection. GENKI’s presentation pages do not copy the information entered in that form.
The GENKI pages do not act as an appointment database. Technical log retention depends on the hosting provider’s practices. Retention of booking or care information depends on its purpose and applicable legal or professional obligations; you can ask management for details.
You can request deletion of information that is no longer needed, subject to retention requirements. Withdrawing consent or deleting cookies does not automatically delete an appointment record. Avoid sending detailed health information by ordinary email.
Your rights and requests
You can request access to your personal information, corrections and, where the law provides, a copy in a structured, commonly used technological format. You can also ask to withdraw consent for uses that depend on it, subject to legal limits. Withdrawal may limit some optional services.
For a question, complaint or request about information held by GENKI, contact GENKI management, which is responsible for personal information protection. Your identity may need to be verified. You may also contact Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information.
